Chris Trumbauer received an A+ rating from the Anne Arundel County Chapter of the League of Conservation Voters, the only elected official to be rated so highly.

On hearing of the honor, Chris said, "I'm very pleased to be endorsed today by the Anne Arundel County Chapter of the League of Conservation Voters. Clean air, clean water and healthy communities are important to all residents, and I am proud of the work we have done on the County Council to reduce polluted runoff, restrict harmful pesticides and reject sprawl development."

“We’re pleased that overall, the grades of Anne Arundel’s Council members are somewhat better than when we last scored them in 2012,” said Maryland League of Conservation Voters Anne Arundel County Chapter Co-Chair Bob Gallagher. “Thanks to the extraordinary leadership from Councilman Trumbauer and significant support from Councilmen Grasso, Ladd, Benoit and Smith, Anne Arundel County established long-overdue funding to reduce polluted runoff and improved the county’s Critical Areas Law.”

The complete scorecard is available on the Anne Arundel County Chapter of League of Conservation Voters website, and an article is also available at the Capital-Gazette
